Dara Singh Chauhan has resigned from the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh. In the state government, he had the responsibility of the Ministry of Forest, Environment and Zoological Park.

This is the second blow to the Yogi Adityanath government in two days. Earlier on Tuesday, Labor Minister Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from the cabinet and announced to part ways with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Like Swami Prasad Maurya, Dara Singh Chauhan has put the Yogi Adityanath government of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the dock.

Dara Singh Chouhan has said in a letter to the Governor, “I am hurt by the grossly neglectful attitude of the backward, downtrodden, dalits, farmers and unemployed youth, as well as with the reservation of the backward and downtrodden. I resign from the state cabinet.”

In the Uttar Pradesh government, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya tried to persuade Swami Prasad Maurya on Tuesday and on Wednesday he requested Dara Singh Chouhan to reconsider his decision.

At the same time, before this, on Wednesday itself, the Bharatiya Janata Party informed that Congress MLA Naresh Saini, Hariom Yadav, who was elected MLA on Samajwadi Party ticket, and former Samajwadi Party MLA Dharampal Singh have joined the BJP.

Hariom Yadav is the MLA from Firozabad. He is said to be a relative of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, but some time ago the Samajwadi Party took action against him.

The reason for this was said to be his closeness with the BJP. Nevertheless, the major reason for his joining the BJP was the reason for his long partnership with the Samajwadi Party.

After the resignation of Dara Singh Chouhan from the Yogi government, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter, ‘Welcome and congratulations!’

Akhilesh Yadav gave such a reaction even after the resignation of Swami Prasad Maurya.

Akhilesh Yadav also posted his picture with Chouhan on Twitter. He also posted his picture with Swami Prasad Maurya on Tuesday after his resignation.

In the political corridors, many indications are being drawn about the reactions of the Samajwadi Party and the BJP.

Why are ministers leaving BJP?

In Uttar Pradesh, for the past few months, the process of switching sides of leaders is going on, but it has increased with the announcement of the dates of the assembly elections.

Senior journalist Ramdutt Tripathi calls it ‘natural’.

Tripathi says, “Realignment happens before elections. It is natural. But at this time the number of people leaving the BJP is visible. Ministers are also leaving.”

Ramdutt Tripathi claims that one reason for this could be that these leaders see little chance of BJP coming back to power.

He says, “The basic thing is why did he go? According to his assessment, he cannot win from BJP or BJP is not coming to power. If he had this belief then BJP is coming to power then he will not.” go.”

Tripathi also says, “The non-Yadav backward castes on whom the BJP had cast its strings are now getting disillusioned. The BJP’s top leadership failed to spot it in time.”

‘Damage to BJP’

Ambikanand Sahai, a senior journalist who closely tracks the politics of Uttar Pradesh, says that the departure of ministers like Swami Prasad Maurya can harm the BJP.

Says Sahai, “Some people leave parties before elections. But Swami Prasad Maurya is not in that category. This is a big incident. It can harm the BJP.”

According to Sahai, the BJP may be trying to persuade Maurya, but he has made it clear that ‘the arrow has left the command and now it will not come back’.

Sahai claims that Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party can directly benefit from this. According to him, this time Akhilesh is looking for a bite to the BJP’s strategy.

He says, “BJP had declared Samajwadi Party as the party of Yadavs and to a large extent it was also successful in giving such an impression. But this time Akhilesh Yadav’s strategy is to unite the backwards and he should also be successful in this. are.”

However, he calls Hari Om Yadav’s joining BJP only a ‘symbolic’ decision.

Akhilesh’s strategy

Ambikanand Sahai reminds that Akhilesh Yadav has forged alliances with smaller parties which are still looking effective.

He says, “(OP) Rajbhar, Maurya, Kushwaha and Saini are associated with him. Mallah is associated to a large extent. Anupriya Patel is with BJP but Krishna Patel is with Akhilesh Yadav.”

Sahai also claims that Swami Prasad Maurya also has no party other than the Samajwadi Party, where he sees his future.

He says, “I have information that he is going to Samajwadi Party. Will not return to BJP. The door is closed in Mayawati’s place. Will not return there.”

Says Sahai, “Maurya is an old and grassroots leader. He also has his own supporters. People from the Kushwaha, Saini and Koiri classes have stayed with him.”

Swami Prasad Maurya had claimed after parting ways with BJP that ‘BJP will see its effect’.

‘Maurya is effective’

Ramdutt Tripathi says that Maurya has an effect.

He says, “Maurya is a resident of Pratapgarh. He has been contesting from Kushinagar. His daughter is an MP from Bandayu. It is not that he is only the leader of his seat.”

Tripathi claims that leaders like Maurya and Chouhan are getting disillusioned with the BJP.

He says, “Lower OBCs brought BJP to power. Due to lack of share in power, they feel that they have not got proper sharing in power. Among those who hold such opinion, there are Rajbhar, Saini, Maurya. These farmers are also there. Huh. “

What is the effect of religious card?

Ramdutt Tripathi says, “The economic devastation that has happened in the rural areas in the last six-seven years is not possible to compensate for it through the politics of religion.”

Ambikanand Sahai is also telling economic problems as a big issue.

He says, “The basic issue is inflation. People are bragging about it, it’s a big factor.”

Sahai also claims that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP are raising issues like ’80 vs 20′ and ‘Mathura’ because of this.

He says, “BJP has no other card than this. If it is successful, then the vehicle is stuck if it is not crossed.”
