Does Kangana Ranaut like controversies?

BJP’s newly elected MP Kangana Ranaut has been slapped by a CISF woman guard at Chandigarh airport, whose name is being told as Kulwinder Kaur. It is being told that the lady guard was angry with Kangana’s statement on the farmers’ movement, due to which she did this. Later, in a video viral on social media, the accused female soldier Kulwinder Kaur was seen referring to a statement. According to Kulwinder, Kangana’s statement was about the farmers’ movement in which she had said that ‘people sit in the movement for hundred rupees each’.

Mixed reactions are coming on social media regarding this matter. Some people are seen in favor of the woman soldier, while some are also calling her Khalistani. Posts are being continuously made from both sides. Secondly, Kangana is no longer just a film actress, she is also a public representative. From the Congress government of Himachal to the candidate standing against her, Vikramaditya, everyone has condemned this… Currently, the female security personnel has been suspended and Punjab Police has filed an FIR against her. Kangana’s sister Rangoli targeted the entire Punjab on her Insta story regarding the matter.

Wrote Khalistanis, this is your only capability. Planning and attacking from behind. But my sister has a very strong backbone. She will handle it herself. But what will happen to you Punjab? Once again it has been proved that the farmers protest was a Khalistani base. This is a serious security threat. It needs to be taken up.

In such a situation, there will be many people who may not know the whole matter. The whole matter is that the statement of Kangana which is being talked about is an old social media post of hers. In the year 2020, farmers’ movement was going on in the country against the 3 agricultural bills of the central government. At that time Twitter was called Twitter. In the midst of the movement, Kangana made a post on 27 November 2020. At 10:06 pm. In this post, Kangana commented on an elderly woman who was active in the Shaheen Bagh protest. She wrote,

“Ha ha ha, this is the same grandmother who was featured in Time magazine as the most powerful Indian. And she is available for Rs 100. Pakistani journalists have hijacked international PR. We need our own people to raise our voice at the international level.”

Later, Kangana Ranaut had to delete her post because it backfired. People surrounded her fiercely. It was said that her claim of protesting for Rs 100 turned out to be fake. Secondly, the elderly woman from Shaheen Bagh whose picture Kangana had posted in the post was not Bilkis Bano. She was some other woman whose name was Mahinder Kaur and age was stated to be 80 years. She is a resident of Bahadurgarh Jandia, a village in Punjab.

When Kangana’s post went viral, Mahinder Kaur was questioned on her claim. She replied,

“Who is Kangana? Why is she defaming me? I do not go for any daily wage. I do farming. I still do it. My son goes to fetch water and I go with him.”

Mahinder Kaur had also filed a defamation case in Bathinda court regarding the post made by Kangana. She had said that the post caused her mental distress. Her image was also hurt among family members, relatives, neighbors, villagers and common people.

After this, the matter was not suppressed but it rose a lot, so much so that on 3 December 2021, Kangana was going from her home Manali in Himachal Pradesh to Chandigarh, from where she had to catch a flight to Mumbai. On the way, two pilot cars of Punjab Police were running ahead of Kangana’s convoy in Kiratpur Sahib on Chandigarh Una National Highway for security. When the convoy reached the highway, farmers were already gathered there. They surrounded Kangana’s car. Kangana released a video from the car on social media and termed it as mob lynching. Kangana wrote that I have just left Himachal because my flight has been cancelled. As soon as I stepped into Punjab, the mob attacked me. What kind of behavior is this? The mob was asking me to apologize. I am being mob lynched openly…

This was her social media post, after which many senior officers of Punjab Police reached the spot. In the end, Kangana apologizes to the farmer women and while touching a woman’s cheek, she said that you are like my mother, let me go. My words were not for you, but about Shaheen Bagh. After this, the women calmed down and asked Kangana to get out of the car. Kangana came out, waved her hand and apologized.

Now after three years, the matter again came to light and the news came that a female security personnel named Kulwinder slapped Kangana, although according to India Today’s report, her service record has been good till this incident. No such case has come to light in her 15 years of service. She has been counted among good female soldiers. For the last two years, she was posted at Chandigarh Airport. Kulwinder Kaur’s husband is also in CISF. She also has two children. Currently, the accused female soldier has been suspended. CISF officials are investigating the matter further. Now the statement of the brother of the accused woman soldier has come in the case. He has said that he stands with his sister. According to the report of Kamaljit associated with India Today, Kulwinder Kaur’s brother Sher Singh Mahiwal said, “We came to know through the media that something has happened at Chandigarh airport. Now we have come to know that the incident happened during the checking of Kangana’s mobile and purse.” Sher Singh claimed that when Kangana told his sister that she is an MP, then there was an altercation between the two. According to him, “Kangana had said during the farmers’ movement that women have come there for 100 rupees. After the altercation, my sister must have got emotionally charged due to which such an incident happened. Both the jawan and the farmer are important and are performing their duty in every sense. We fully support them in this matter.” Overall, this is the whole incident, we do not have any solid evidence to add Khalistani Pakistani angle to it, we talk about the facts, people can analyze it according to their understanding and the government can investigate.
