Internet and mobile is making children violent

Whoever heard the matter in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, could not believe it. But the incident is true and the matter is with the police here a son shot his mother. The mother’s mistake was that she forbade the son to play the pubg game. Since the child was a PUBG addict, he did not like this thing and he shot and killed his mother.

A similar case a short time ago in Greater Noida, adjacent to Delhi, a 15-year-old child had committed two murders in a single night. One murdered his real mother and the other his real sister. Both these murders were done by beating the cricket bat by the child. The reason for the murder was told to the crime fighter game. Because the sister had complained that the brother used to play games on the mobile phone throughout the day and hence the mother beat up the son, scolded him and snatched his mobile phone.

These incidents are no different from the hundreds of suicides caused by the Blue Whale game that devastated the world. But this case became more dangerous because instead of suicide in this case there is a homicide. Murder cases are also being done for their relatives. One such heart-wrenching case came to light from Jodhpur, Rajasthan in November 2020. Here a 23-year-old youth was so disgusted with the loss of mobile data that he brutally murdered his younger brother by stabbing him several times in the chest.

Not one or two such news, but now many news have started coming out and with these news questions are also being raised whether smartphone is a mobile facility or a dilemma? Or at what age should children be given mobile phones? In fact, before Corona, children used to demand mobile, then the family used to say that study first and then take mobile. But the corona epidemic and then the online class put mobile in the hands of every child. It can also be understood that the screen time of children has increased a lot since Corona. At the time of Corona, children started using mobile so much that now it has become more addiction than their habit and when any habit becomes an addiction, it results in loss.

In fact, giving mobiles to children in families due to pampering or need is not a big deal now. Secondly, children also often demand mobile phones by saying that they need it for studies. But the biggest disadvantage in this is that the children become completely dependent on the mobile.

In fact, children have this specialty that they accept what happens in front of them as truth. They lack the intellectual capacity to make a comparison between truth and illusion. That is why whenever children play a game, they go inside that game and start considering themselves as a character of that game. The way the events take place in that game or game, children are also seen behaving in the same way.

When children play games on mobile, their tendency becomes violent. In such a situation, he would have made social distance but also emotionally away from the family. Due to this, there is no attachment or love of any kind towards the family in his mind. “Earlier kids used to be grounded but now the environment has changed a lot. Children have become very vibrant in nature. Killing, using guns, all this is becoming a part of their habit.”

Secondly, often when children play games on mobile, we are happy to think that let’s let them play for some time. But he is not playing, watch carefully he is just sitting and someone else is playing with his mind. Watch his face carefully, sometimes he will be violent, sometimes he will go into depression. Many times when he does not have a mobile, he will feel alone even while living in the midst of the family. He starts living in a strange world. The characters of the game become its heroes more than the parents. When for some reason the family members distance him from it, he becomes violent. Apart from breaking and breaking the essential items of the house, many times he also commits violence with himself along with others.

Actually a lot opens on a single click in mobile. Children go to different sites apart from the game where they start living in a fantasy world after a time. Five years to 12 years of age are very important for supervising children. At this age they need to be heard and understood a lot.”

Parents need to pay serious attention to why the child wants to be alone. Now it has become a tradition of nuclear family. People are not able to pay much attention to the children in the pursuit of earning money.”

According to psychologists, when children are 8 years old, they need a lot of supervision. Hormonal changes take place at this age, then there is a lot of turmoil going on in their mind. There is a matter of adjustment for children at this age. They want freedom at this age. If the counseling of children is not done in time then there can be problems. In this context, it is very important to talk to children for half an hour every day. Keep an eye on what the child is reacting to. Do not let the phone be used for more than one and a half to two hours a day. According to a research by psychologists, children use mobile for an average of eight hours in 24 hours, which is the most harmful. Kids want to try everything at this age.

In fact, the phone used by children should be different. It should have apps only according to the needs of the children. Upload good literature for children to read. Now a mechanical age has come, so many such incidents will continue to happen if attention is not paid to it. Now the joint family is over and there are no people left in the homes to tell stories.

Fundamentally, children have to be kept away from this constantly distracting world of mobile phones for a period of age if they want to succeed at all levels of education. Otherwise, even if the child is yours, someone else will be deciding his direction in his own way, not in your way.
