American adventurist Cynthia D Ritchie has claimed that she was raped by Pakistan’s ex-interior minister Rahman Malik at President House in Islamabad. She further accused former PM Yousaf Raza Gillani of psychically manhandling her.
Calling allegations “too serious”, she called for an investigation.
Cynthia, who is close to the Pakistani ruling establishment, further said that she was assaulted by other men in the highest echelons of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and that her e-mail accounts were hacked and people spied on her.
Going live on Facebook, Cynthia said that the PPP is going after her because she exposed the top-ranking officials of the party.
In the video, Cynthia alleged that Malik raped her in 2011 when the PPP was in power and she further claimed that she was “physically manhandled by former Health Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani while he was staying at the President’s House”.

She also said that she had all the necessary evidence to support her allegations.
Moments before going live on Facebook she tweeted: “ZardarisFilthyPPP keeps threatening me. Why? Because they know that over the years I have been raped / assaulted by men in the highest ranks of PPP. They don’t want the world to know. I have decided to go live on Facebook in approximately 30 minutes & continue to tell my story. “
Cynthia, who claims to be an adventurist, self-proclaimed filmmaker, journo and blogger, sparked massive uproar in Pakistan for her slanderous Twitter rant against former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto after which the PPP filed an FIR against her for her hateful comments.

The opposition further said that Cynthia, who had introduced herself as a tourist, journalist and belly dancer, was interfering in the internal affairs by making such demeaning comments against a former PM.
Cynthia has been vocal about her “love” for Pakistan and regularly promotes the country on her social media platforms.
