Lucknow: Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday released Samajwadi Party’s poll manifesto for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections 2022. The SP has named its manifesto ‘Samajwadi Vachan Patra’. In its manifesto, Akhilesh-headed SP has promised to waive off the loans taken by farmers in four years and also provide Rs 25 lakh each to the families who lost their loved ones during farm laws protest. The opposition party also promised an ‘Urban Employment Guarantee Act’ on the lines of MNREGA if voted to power.

List of promises made in SP manifesto for UP elections 2022:

Rs 1 lakh crore for the upliftment of the rural economy

Farms Corpus Fund will be established if SP is voted to power – Minimum support price will be provided to all crops and payment to sugarcane farmers will be ensured within 15 days.

300 units of electricity will be provided free of cost to every household

Samajwadi Party canteens will be built across the state where food will be provided for Rs 10 to each person

Kisan Bazar to be expanded

Farmer memorial in the memory of ‘martyred farmers’ during farmers’ protest

Food processing cluster in every Mandal

Will join the villages with modern agriculture

Regular government jobs to ‘Shiksha Mitras’ within three years

Old pension scheme of government employees to be restored

Employment for one crore people in the MSME sector

Small and marginal farmers with less than two acres of land will get two bags of DAP, five bags of urea, interest-free loan, electricity for irrigation, insurance and pension

Women power line 1090 will be strengthened

Samajwadi Pension Yojana to be restarted

‘Samajwadi grocery stores’ for poor workers, masons and homeless to get ration and other necessities at subsidised rates

Each BPL family to get two LPG cylinders annually free of cost

33 per cent reservation for women in jobs

Free education for girls in government educational schools and institutions from Class KG to PG courses

The owner of two-wheelers will get 1 lire free petrol every month

Autorickshaw owners to get 6 litres of petrol and 3 kg CNG free every month
