In a democratic country, when the farmers are demanding their rights, seeking justice for themself on the streets, when the youth of the country is looking for employment, where the girls are being kidnaped, raped, and murdered in public, then seeing the useless news flashing on the big news channel of that country is ironical. Amid all this, what will you feel while watching the Prime Minister smiling during vaccinating himself from the corona? Of course, any common native of the country will become restless and hopeless for the bright tomorrow of India.

All sensitive Indian citizens will have to be worried about their ‘smiling days,’ those smiling days that have been eaten away by media to industrialist, from leader to actor, and journalists in the name of so-called news!

Many news channels in the country are claiming themselves as the fourth pillar of democracy and endorsing that they bring the real news in the fastest way.  One has the big news while the other has the fake news or semi fake news! Amid all, where is the news about the common people of India?

In the adorned newsrooms, you will see anchors sitting with makeup faces. Every day they have the same speaker and the same spokespersons. When the correspondents can go to the focal point of the earthquake and the same correspondents are unable to reach farmers dying in the movement or the starving girl dying in her thatch due to non-availability of Aadhaar card, then you must wonder for whom the news is going on? Or whose news is going on? Or who will get the benefit of this news?

In the capitalist society, the wheel of profits is spinning a lot. The industrialist who are purchasing 2 rupees of potatoes from the farmer, making chips out of them and selling the same at 900 rupees per kilos, are now making plans for the growth of farmers!

With which face are they claiming the rhetoric of equality between hardworking farmers and capitalist people? Are they able to answer another big question that whether any farmer has received Bharat Ratna in a country where agriculture is prime?

I do not know how many days have been passed to see the news about the needs and problems of the common citizen of the country. On each new day, we see cameras rotating on the selected faces that are throwing their own mentally cooked thoughts while knowing the field reality, and even if they know the reality, they hardly care because the capitalists have already filled their pockets.

Every evening there occurs a riot-like situation in Studios. Be it in the name of- biggest question, or so-called News Analysis, or Primary time, or India is asking, everyone comes with their own story, narrates it in their own words, and goes back home to sleep. Do you think that they really care about a country? They are mere actors who know their scripts, who know the actions and skills to win in an argument. They never let a healthy discussion occur; they never bother to know the answer even if they themselves have asked it. Every day we see a few determined faces who will remain in the news. Nobody will care for who is happy or unhappy in India.

Regarding journalism, Advani ji had once said that he was asked to bow down, he started crawling. But that time has passed, and journalists have now become the ‘courtier’ of new India whose only job is to worship the presiding deity. Perhaps the pen in their hands has been replaced by the ‘bell’ with which they keep pleasing their God all the time and obeying their role in modern days ‘Bhakti-Kaal.’

A few days ago, a journalist from a renowned channel in Meerut submitted his resignation from the stage, saying that “I cannot compromise with my soul anymore. When my four-year-old child grows up, he will ask me that where was I in that time of undeclared emergency in the country? That is, big officials of the country will never ask their children to become journalists. They will explain that if not me, then some other officer or the leader will lock you up inside the jail. Do this that you become a slave and stay out of jail. And, if you become a journalist, then you will have to stay in jail. What a glorified picture it is???????

Today the leaders of the country should also remember that even if they change everything, still the memories will remain alive. No matter what, memories will remain, and history is never going to forgive them. Stories, movies, and jokes will be made on them, narrative their cowardly acts.

In the last two years, more than 6,600 people were put in jail on charges of treason. This is not a joke; this is a fact, but nothing short of a joke. Before this, only 2 percent of the people who were tried for treason could be taken to the point of punishment. Now, as the alleged traitors are increasing, it appears that fences will have to be planted all around the country, and the name of the country shall be ‘Jail.’

Even though the Constitution of India talks about the creation of a society based on equality, fraternity, and justice in its preamble, it is not being done. Those who need to raise voice and put questions on this matter are busy in taking selfies with their political favorites.

There was a time when the leaders and journalists of India, not only in India but across the world, used to put opinions on the question of democracy. They used to speak on it and kept their distance from dictators. Today it is turning upside down. The dictator is also being called a friend. The next generation will ask the question that you used to spend your days by eating two and a half GB of data, listening to the speeches of political masters, and decorating the stage in political tents. Now, we need food at least two times a day. Then what answer will you give to those poor, hungry, and empty-stomach children of tomorrow? Prepare your answers today only!
